During our time as a contractor in the industry there has always been someone (homeowners, fellow contractors, and suppliers) asking, "Why doesn't someone make one lid that fits them all?"
Valve boxes have been the standard in irrigation systems for approximately 30 years, yet somehow the industry manufacturers did not see fit to answer this call. Finally, Grass Act decided it was time to be that someone and provide the answer. We decided to develop the GroundTopper.
Our practical field knowledge as contractors helped us develop the complete answer. One product that fits everything, done right the first time. This is not a product developed by some engineer who has never had dirt under their fingernails, nor by an industry executive simply looking to add to the bottom line without forthought of utility.
Our products are created by a contracting veteran who developed them to be completely utilitarian for both the "Industry 6" and "Industry 10" inch versions of these boxes. GroundToppers fit most circular opening between 5 1/4 inch to 7 inch and 8 inch to 10 inch, including PVC pipes, drainage, corrugated and even concrete. The GroundTopper Too! even fits most pool skimmers.
